Dead referee 'appointed' to officiate Nigerian league match

Image
Nigerian football’s crisis has taken a bizarre twist with an attempt to appoint a dead referee for Sunday’s match between Warri Wolves and Giwa FC. It comes as Chris Giwa continues to challenge Nigerian Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick. A Nigerian court has ruled Giwa should replace the Fifa-recognised Pinnick and in a move to wrest control he has named the weekend’s top-flight officials. It has raised the possibility that two sets of match officials – those appointed by Giwa’s group and those appointed by the NFF – could turn up for the fixtures. Football’s world governing body Fifa issued a warning last week saying Pinnick and his board must continue in charge of the NFF or Nigeria would face a global suspension. Meanwhile, the Giwa-led faction has rejected a

HOW TO IDENTIFY FAKE POLICEMEN AT A GLANCE

Image
Here are some tips to guide us to security consciousness. 1. Number tag of a real policeman must be six digits, less than six is fake. 2. Only female police officers have their numbers begin with "0", any policeman with number beginning with "0" is fake. 3. Every policeman's name tag is woven to the shirt, no more removable name tags. 4. A distinction between the normal policeman and the SPY (supernumerary) police personnel is that a "SPY"  number must be either three or four digits with the word "SPY" boldly inscribed on their uniform shoulder. Please at night always roll up your windows in traffic, central lock your doors, be double sure they are true policemen, if they are not, be strong and speed off. Never get frightened. Be watchful, they are everywhere. Educate your family members and friends.

Speaking recently to  Hip TV , pop star and married mum of one  Tiwa Savage , 36, spoke about how society views celebrity mums after they give birth. According to her, “ When you give birth it doesn't mean you stop being sexy at all. It was being sexy that got us pregnant in the first place. Having a baby doesn't change anything it just makes me more responsible, I have a lot to live for, I have a lot to work for. I am still who I am and that's not gonna change. ” Tiwa Savage has in my books been a trailblazer. When she moved back to Nigeria in 2010 her exciting blend of pop music and sexuality made a quick lane for her. Not many female singers if not any where using sex appeal as a calling card. Tiwa Savage did and boldly so. When she exposed her cleavage in her second music video ‘ Love Me 3x ’ it caused quite a bit of stir in the music industry.
