Stella Damasus denies granting ThisDay interview

Sultry actress and singer, Stella Damasus, has denied granting ThisDay Life & Style the controversial interview that trended on social media some days ago. Speaking through her Publicist, Bayo Adetu, Stella reiterated that she hasn’t even granted any Nigerian media platform interview in the last two years. “I can only remember speaking to Golden Icon in an interview more than two years ago, so I was surprised when the local media was awash with a purported interview I granted. “To set the records straight, I didn’t grant ThisDay any interview,” Stella said. Marvin records First Lady, Tiwa Savage has been confirmed as Pepsi Ambassador, following speculations of her being dropped. The confirmation was necessary following issues in her marriage which trended on social media over the weekend. The Managing Director of Seven Up Bottling Company, Mr Sunil Sawhney took to his twitter account to deny reports that the singer had been dropped as Pepsi Ambassador. “I will like to clarify that our relationship with Tiwa Savage is as strong as ever.’’ he wrote. “Following this clarification by Mr Suni Sawhney, the contract with Tiwa Savage is not due to end anytime soon as the singer still remains the brand ambassador.

Ramsey Nouah  is no stingy man when it comes to encouraging film making in other parts of Africa. The ace Nollywood star reportedly dropped 500,000frs CFA (175,000 Naira) as donation to promote film production in Cameroon at the closing ceremony of the  Cameroon International Film Festival (CAMIFF)  on April 29. Nene passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in Lagos. Fast rising Nollywood actress and video vixen, Genevieve Nene has passed away. It was gathered that the actress had not been enjoying good state of health for sometime but had continued working on movie sets till few days back. While details of her eventual exit has not been disclosed, sources said she breathed her last on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in Lagos. Nigerians blast minister on Twitter over masquerade comment

The comment by the Minister of Information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed,  on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, that a masquerade in the South-East can create employment for 1,000 men in one week, has caused a stir on social media.
