JOSE MOURINHO says he wants to manage in the Premier League on the night he got his hands on boxing's ultimate prize. Express Sport  understands Mourinho, 53, is favourite to replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford - should the Dutchman be sacked. The former Chelsea boss was at London's O2 Arena last night to  watch Brit Joshua win the IBF World Heavyweight title . Joshua knocked out Charles Martin in the second round and after the fight posed for pictures with Mourinho and his heavyweight belt. And before the bout Mourinho told  Sky Sports  of his intentions to return to management. "[Van Gaal] is my friend, I worked with him for a few years," Mourinho said. "I am always linked with jobs and in the summer I will have a job, but in this moment I can promise you I do not have a contract with any club. "I am not in a position to turn (jobs) down, I am in a position to analyse. I am in a position to be open to any club or nation

"We've got more to go. Probably when I retire I will be happy but as I'm still fighting, I've got to put this behind me. "Yeah (I was more excited at getting the fight). I'm happy I got the fight, we developed a different level of stamina, composure. A new level of man was born. "I knew 100 per cent (it was over after the first knockdown). I know not to rush in, and I know if I've got enough power to hurt him once, if I keep my shape and keep on doing the same things to hurt him first time, I just knew I'd be able to get to him sooner or later." "Me, Tyson Fury and David Haye, we have to fight. We can't get through this whole era without fighting, that would be silly, we will get it on at the right time. It's just bound to happen at some stage. "I'm not going to lower myself (to Fury's level after he took to Twitter to criticise my performance), he talks like a kid. He's predictable really. He

Caretaker manager saw his side slump to an eighth straight defeat at home to Bournemouth A banner outside Villa Park  Aston Villa have been warned of the massive challenge they face to bounce back to the Premier League after their dreadful season continued amid increasing anger. Caretaker manager Eric Black, who saw his side slump to an eighth straight defeat at home to Bournemouth, says a huge shift in mentality will be needed for Villa to return to the top flight at the first attempt next season. Norwich’s defeat at Crystal Palace and Sunderland’s loss at home to Leicester delayed Villa’s relegation, mathematically at least, until Saturday, when anything other that victory at Manchester United and favourable results elsewhere will rubber-stamp their fate. However, that did not appease furious supporters, who again turned on their players and owner Randy Lerner, and Black is warning there is no guarantee of brighter times ahead unless attitudes change. “It is a mass
