Omawunmi Singer forgives interviewer, breaks silence on smoking allegation

Omawumi  has finally opened up on her disastrous interview after appearing as a guest on “ Da Chat ” with  Zinnia , a show produced by  HF TV. The  "If You Ask Me"  crooner has revealed that she has forgiven Zinnia for basically putting her morality to question after she had alleged that Omawumi is a smoker. Omawumi had not surprised anyone when she had  stormed out of the interview  set after being asked about the effect of her smoking in public, knowing that she is a role model to many. The singer who had been visibly upset, had asked the interviewer for proof that she smoked, of which Zinnia could not produce any. Omawumi has now revealed that although she is upset, she has decided to let the incident go, as she just wants to have fun rather than attend rehearsals. She made the revelation via her Instagram page, where she shared a video of the cartoon,  'Frozen' , with the caption: “Arms open wide like my daughter singing loudly ‘Let it go’ Mood.

Riyad Mahrez tells Leicester he wants to stay

Cameroon Footballer Dies On Pitch During Match

An international footballer has collapsed and died while playing for a Romanian top league club in a match broadcast live on TV. Several players and club staff members were seen in tears after Patrick Ekeng dropped to the ground while playing for Dinamo Bucharest. Local media said the 26-year-old from Cameroon suffered a heart attack. Spokesman for the Floreasca Emergency Hospital, Cristian Pandrea, said doctors had tried for an hour to resuscitate the midfielder but failed. Mr Pandrea said the cause of death was not known. The match between Dinamo and Viitorul Constanta was 3-3 at the time midfielder Ekeng fell to the ground 69 minutes into the game. Ekeng had played twice for his national team Cameroon, both times at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, and also had spells with Spanish club Cordoba CF, Swiss club Lausanne, and French club Le Mans. The footballer had a wife and daughter.

London has become the first European Union capital to have a Muslim mayor

The British Labour party's Sadiq Khan has been sworn in as London's new mayor after comfortably beating his nearest rival, Conservative MP Zac Goldsmith. Speaking at the ceremony at Southwark Cathedral on Saturday, Khan called the city the "greatest in the world", adding he was "proud" and "deeply humbled" by his win. "I want every single Londoner to get the opportunities that the city gave to me and my family...the opportunities not just to survive, but to thrive," Khan pledged. Khan picked up 44 percent of first preference votes to Goldsmith's 35 percent. The Labour candidate then picked up enough second preference votes to cross the 50 percent threshold, with 57 percent to Goldsmith's 43 overall.  The Labour party's leader Jeremy Corbyn congratulated Khan on his victory on Friday evening.  Conservative MP Zac Goldsmith's campaign has been marked by accusations of being  "dirty"   and  "nega
