Joshua: Anthony Joshua tells Tyson Fury to stop being 'a character'

Anthony Joshua has continued his war of words with Tyson Fury this week

Anthony Joshua says he would love to share a ring with Tyson Fury and urged his heavyweight rival to be himself and not a 'character'.
The unbeaten duo exchanged heated words on Twitter just days before Joshua will challenge Charles Martin for the IBF world heavyweight title this Saturday, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Fury, who briefly held the IBF belt last year before he was stripped by the organisation, branded Joshua 'a weightlifter who is fighting for a paper title'.
But Joshua hit back on social media, calling Fury 'fat boy' and a 'hater', before offering the WBA and WBO champion a ringside seat at The O2 this weekend.
Joshua would be happy to settle the feud, if he successfully defeats Martin, and even suggested that Fury has been putting on an act in a bid to build the fight.

"Promoters would love that fight and so would I," said Joshua. "But Fury should just be himself and not try and be this character. Boxing's a sport that gives you licence to act like an idiot, I think!"
Firstly Joshua faces Martin, who is also yet to suffer a defeat, and the American has talked confidently about taking his title back home.
But Joshua is hoping to be crowned champion in just his 16th fight and is determined to preserve his perfect record for years to come.
"They're all just waiting for me to fail," he said. "Listen, they'll be waiting a long time."
Joshua will write his name in boxing history if he wins, adding the world title to his 2012 Olympic gold, and will join the likes of Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard, who also achieved that feat.
"Hmm, Olympic champion and world pro champion at the same time," he said. "It's the ultimate double really. That would be really cool if I could."
