“one dance” with drake, wizkid and kayla

Canadian rapper Drake has joined the ever increasing list of international musicians looking to African artists to lend their talents to their music. On Tuesday (5 April) @champagnepapi (Drake’s Instagram account) announced news of a feature with Nigerian recording artist Wizkid and songstress Kyla on a track called “One dance”.
The tune is heavily influenced by African beats, interchanging between dancehall and duttywine elements. While the Starboy doesn’t have a verse on the tune, his voice can be heard on the adlibs and hook(s). Drake released the single via iTunes first. The major announcement comes as Dreezy fans eagerly await the rapper’s upcoming ‘Views From The 6’ project set to release soon. Other said features include Jay Z and Kanye West – not bad company at all for both Drake and Wizkid.
Have you heard the single? What are your thoughts?
