"Ladies and gentlemen! I’m plsd 2 let u know that I’m going 2 be Conferred with an honorary degree @ Igbinedion University on the 10th of may in okada,” the ‘African Queen’ singer said, adding, “U are all invited. #GRATEFUL#igbinedionuniversity Thank u for the honour.
2Face will also co-headline this year's edition of 'Buckwyld ‘n’ BreathlessThe Disruption', alongside other top artists.
2Face, real name Innocent Ujah Idibia, rose to fame afterKennis Music released his debut album, 'Face 2 Face' in May 2004.
In months, the former Plantashun Boiz vocalist sold two million copies, establishing himself Africa’s best.

Some of the awards he has won include: Channel O Music Video Awards, Soundcity Music Video Awards, MTV Africa Music Awards, BET Best International Act: Africa, ThisDay Awards (presented to him by the former U.S. President, Bill Clinton), World Music Awards, Black Heritage Awards for Excellence and Nigerian Music Awards.
