Aisha Buhari launches book on Beauty therapy


The “Essentials of Beauty Therapy” is a book written by the wife of Nigeria’s president, Aisha Buhari for students and tutors on the basics of beauty therapy.
Proceeds from the sale of the books will go to families of the victims of the buni yadi massacre and the missing chibok girls.

The 300 page book, "The essentials of beauty therapy" is written by the wife of the president, Aisha Buhari, and seeks to educate students, licensed beauty therapists and clients alike about their individual beauty needs.
The book spans through the dos and the don’ts of facials, skin care, nail technology, waxing, spa management and more.
The author, Aisha Buhari is a trained beauty therapist with more than ten years of hands on experience in the skill.
She says, this book is meant to help people feel better about themselves and she adds, that the proceeds from selling the books will be given to families of victims of the Buni Yadi massacre and the missing chibok girls
Special guest, Vice president Yemi Osinbanjo is thrilled that the drive towards improving girl child education by Aisha Buhari is commendable as the book will help train those who will in turn teach others
The very first beauty institute in Northern Nigeria, was opened by Aisha Buhari in Kaduna to help explore the untapped the wealth in the emerging beauty industry in 2010.
